The Open Door is NOW the Proud Host of the

Reality Tour

The Reality Tour was designed to reach parent and child together with a memorable prevention experience. We hope you will understand the importance Indiana County places on substance abuse prevention.  The time period from 6th grade to 9th grade is considered significant for this prevention message.

Recently a CDC survey found that 1 in 5 high school students have abused prescription drugs. Substance abuse is a serious health problem affecting 1 in 4 families.  The Reality Tour was designed to reach families before they have a problem.

Reality Tour is a real-life drama depicting what happens when a teen is addicted to DRUGS. Taking place at the Indiana County Jail, the Reality Tour provides parents important take home information to continue the discussion at home.  Teens are empowered to make healthy choices in their lives.

We hope to see you at the Reality Tour with your child.

Groups are welcome!  NEW – Teachers can now earn ACT 48 credits!
